Just need an extra 2 inches

I want to lift my Jeep about 2 more inches. I currently have a 2.5 Pro-Comp lift, 34" tires. It seem I'm dragging my receiver hitch frequently when off-roading. I know it will not SOLVE the issue, but I figured it will help.

Here are my thoughts:
1. Buy a 1 or 2 inch frame lift. Obviously this does not help lift my receiver.
2. Add some suspension spacers and lift the front and back 1-2 inches.
3. Buy an inch bigger tires - mine are low and I'm about in the market for new.

Any thoughts? Figure I may just get bigger wheels and a frame lift.

Is a frame lift better or would a suspension lift be better?

Not only do frame lifts look pretty horrible on JK's, they will mess up your shifting if you're in a manual.

Better to go with spacers, or a spacer/tire combo. Though tires will only raise your Jeep about 1/2" for each inch increase in tire circumference.

How far down does your hitch receiver hang, anyway? Must be kinda like bull balls...:)

Take off your receiver when wheeling?

You can make or buy a receiver skid plate hitch cover,or a short ball mount with a fused ball if you have to leave it on all the time. I am going to make a skid plate to protect the hitch.
