Sagging Springs

Hey guys, I've got a quick question for a buddy. He has a 77 CJ-5 with a 360 in it. I have never seen the jeep, he just talks about it at work. He says that the front springs are sagging from the weight of the motor, I don't think he has any lift on it. He wanted to know the cheapest, easiest way to fix it, I told him to do a spring over, since that was what I did with my CJ. You guys have any other suggestions, he did say that the he could get new springs, but wanted to know other options first. Thanks Guys.

he needs some stronger springs in the front. i wouldn´t do a SOA only in the front.

in a coil sping jeep he only had to add some 1" spacers for 15$...

If he is looking for cheap at the expense of ride, he can always buy the helper springs.

You didn't say he was looking for any lift out of it. Right?

No, he's not looking for a lift as much as to level it. Like I said, I have not seen the jeep, but he said that it is sagging quite a bit. I didn't even think about the helper springs, guess I'm used to my TJ now, thanks.

those wil make the ride REALLLYYY stiff
i suggest just getting new springs and while hes at it he might as well get some 2" taller ones and go for all four since the back are proabably sagging just not as much, or if he wants cheap but same ride, go to a junkyard and find the same year range CJ but with a smaller engine so less sag and swap those springs in
