yj has leaf springs, TJ has coils....yj has square headlights, TJ has round.....TJ is OBDII and YJ is OBDI.......

OBDI means???

The '91-'95 fuel injected motors used On Board Diagnostics v1 (OBDI). Whereas the '97-current use On Board Diagnostics v2 (OBDII). It basically boils down to how much of the engine is monitored/operated by computer.

The YJ also only came with Dana 30/Dana 35, whereas the TJ later had Dana 30/Dana 44 optional and later on with the Rubicon Dana 44/Dana 44.
