zeprider25 04-13-2012 12:50 PM

Ill try to make it out, went twice already this month and the price of gas is killing me.

Skawt 04-16-2012 04:49 PM

I am hoping to make it. Newbie alert, you were warned.

Vosty3 04-16-2012 05:52 PM

Looked up how far Tahuya is from Central WA was planning on coming until I realized it was a 4 hour 30 minute trip up there :( Otherwise I would be all in. Do you guys ever go to the Ellensburg area Untanum, Liberty, Rimrock, Manastash Ridge, Cle Elum Valley Trails? I am cutting my teeth here in Prosser there are endless trails in the valley. Definitely want to stay on the easier trails as my rig is a daily driver.

Drix 04-16-2012 11:37 PM

I swear one of these runs I will be there, Once again I am occupied.

We wheel in the Wenatchee forest when summer hits. Funny Rocks,Moon Rocks, Raven's Roost, Tripod flats, you name it. Utahaneum is on the short list as well. Can't wait until the snow melts and let's us get over there.

I believe you. Hang in there man. We'll hit a date that you can make. Or, maybe you can throw a date you are good with?

Sounds good Fuel would easily be $250 to $300 for that round trip for me... :nonono: look forward to you guys hitting Ellensburg. I might bite the bullet and go up there sometime this summer.

Normally every other weekend. This weekend would of been great but I have to go to a wedding.

Sasquatch 4x4 04-17-2012 07:47 PM

Hey quick question, do i need a discover pass? is there anything i can get temporarily?

Mr. Fish 04-17-2012 08:07 PM

You will need a pass. Stop by just about any nearby sporting goods store and pick up a day pass for $11, or an annual pass for $33.

If anybody has a spare they could lend me either for the day or one i could buy for cheap (if to buy it doesnt have to be mounted) my spare is shot and im tryin to find a good used tires. the tire size is 235/75/R15 but as long as its close to that size and fits a 15in rim thats fine. Thanks.

Not being familiar with the area, is this the place?

Mr. Fish 04-20-2012 07:02 PM

That's the general area of the meetup. Do a search for Safeway right near your pointer and you'll find it.

When you get there, look for a lifted burgundy 07 JKU with soft top and snorkel (Bob), and a stock red 12 JKU with a "SHINY" sticker on the rear window (me).

Arolsen 04-22-2012 01:02 AM

Bob thanks for the tow to the road today!

Alan

Arolsen 04-22-2012 01:05 AM

Does anyone have photos of my wife and I stuck in the water?

Thanks Alan

Arolsen 04-22-2012 01:07 AM

Mr fish,
Thanks for the invite to join your group today!
Alan

Mr. Fish 04-22-2012 01:20 AM

No problem at all, and while it's kinda sorta Bob's crew, I feel OK saying that you can join up any time. ;)

So what ever happened with you and the missus? Get towed out OK?

And yes, there are pics of you in the water, Anne posted some on FB. I'm sure Ashley was shooting while Rich was pulling you out, I suspect they'll post them here before too long.

Arolsen 04-22-2012 04:09 AM

We finally got our tow home at 5:00 got the hose and off loaded the TJ. I pulled my tranny pan and drained oil, water, and mud all at the same time, blew the cooler and it lines clean, put in a new filter and add tranny fluid. The shocker it actually drove. Will take it to be flushed out and see if I can avoid a rebuild or new tranny.
Wife wants lockers now! LOL
