I am not in Cullowhee but live in Macon County so can get there pretty quick. Would like to go for a ride.

I'm just north of you in waynesville. Hurricane creek is a nice mellow ride with some fun spots

Caney Fork road left off of 107 going from Cullowhee to Glenville. Paved about ten miles then it gets fun. Google earth shows it. Moses Creek Rd off of Caney Fork is a good easy ride. Good elevation change. They used to meet up in a loop but somebody put in a couple gates.

Another easy trail is Coweeta Lab Rd in Otto, NC. Go to top of Brushy Mtn to the old fire tower. About a ten minute hike from the parking lot and the view is 360 degrees. Really nice in Oct!

I live off Caney Fork and have run those trails for years. Even better is Rough Butt to the right at the end of Caney right before the pavement ends. It looks like someone's driveway, but it is a road. It used to go much farther, but now is forest service gated a few miles up. Still an awesome ride with a few creek crossings and a couple sticky spots. Makes for a day ride.

Cullowhee Mtn. Rd. to Toothless/Dunloggin is a good trail too. It is getting pretty brutal though before the top due to erosion. I'm not sure of the legal status up top either.
