Best Replacements for Stock Seats?

The seats in my '08 are the most uncomfortable seats ever manufactured. I thought it was just me but several other people have mentioned it while riding with me. I don't remember the seats in our other Jeeps ever being this bad.

I want to change them out. What recommendations do you have for after market seats? I see there are several options out there but I also can't sit in any to "test" them out so I'm hoping someone here knows from experience. :)

Thanks!! :wavey:

I'm thinking of seats that are a little sportier and hold you in with more support. Would like to keep my heated seats though. Any ideas?

...i have a 2010 JK and i will be watching this thread closely!

...i'm thinking 'Mastercraft' Baja's but i don't know of one place to try sitting on them for a test run.

You know I was almost embarrassed to post this thread because well, Jeeps aren't made for comfort. I was afraid you guys would just  . lol I'm glad to know I'm not the only one wanting replacements. Hopefully someone comes along that has done this and can give some guidance. I don't know of anywhere around that you can go sit in seats and "test" them either. I'm afraid to order something and be stuck with it if it's not any better.

I'm one of those who the 08JK seats fits perfectly.

It would be nice for a little more adjustment in the seat tilt, so I installed a 3/8" lift on the front brackets, which now works perfectly for my build....but IIRC the Sahara has an upgraded seat, don't know for sure.

That little bit of front seat tilt now finds the lower pad fully supports my thighs and makes the sacral base angle just right so I rarely have to adjust the seat back tilt at all. Such a little change made a big improvement.

I've been on 8-10 hour day road trips with perfect comfort.

Try the 54 Willys Wagon or the CJ2 if you want REALLY uncomfortable.

I definitely know about the ride in a CJ2a. lol Ouch. Thing is, we definitely don't put the time or miles on it that we do in the '08.

I found a set on 4wd.com that might be ok. I just wish I could sit in them first.

Still looking at several different sites to see if I can find what I'd think would be the best until (hopefully) someone chimes in with some recommendations.
