I was wondering is there a formula to figure out the miles that are actually on the Jeep? I have been looking for the formula or a calculator. The jeep has 100k and he was running 35's for maybe 75000 miles. Also it has 4-10 gearing so i know that throws it off to. Is there anyway to get a rough estimate knowing the size of the tires and gearing?

what did it have factory? When did he change the gears?? It can be done.

we would ahve to know the original gearing before the change, other wise we cant know how far off the speedo is if it even ahs stock tires and changed gears
what tranny, what model (rubicon, X, sport etc) and what diff (44 or 35) we amy be able to guess what it did have, but there's no guarantees, also what year
however if it came stock with the 4.11's then it has 115,500 miles on it (do 35/29 times how many miles it has been 35's instead of stock to get teh amount of miles that it has been running the 35's)

I once figured out how far I was going with bigger tires. I run 31s with no change in gearing from stock. I figured it out to be that for every revolution of the tire I was going an extra 6 or so inches from stock tires. So i was somewhere in the ballpark of going an extra 14 miles per 250 miles I think. Not much help to you but glad to see I am not the only one wondering this. :D:D
