4x4 Problem!!!

I took the Jeep on a few trails today, and when I got home when I put it in 4x4 Hi or Lo, it almost feels like the tires are skidding and jumping forward when I make a sharp turn . When in 2WD it works fine. Anyone know what the culprit is?!:nonono:

never run 4x4 on the street, wranglers don't have a center diff! if your tires have good traction you might break something

Limited duration slow speed driving on pavement won't damage anything.

That skidding you experienced is normal

Still not good for the jeep. 4wd is just for low traction ground like dirt, snow, sand, and steep rocks. When you turn, the front axle will want to be going faster than the back. This is totally natural and happens with every car. When in 4wd, wranglers lock the front and back together, this will either make the back spin faster than normal on turns, or make the front skip like you have mentioned. Driving straight or long, slow turns is fine in 4wd like of you are driving on a snowy road, but on dry pavement its not meant to work.
