Quick Disconnects

So there are a lot of companies that have this. My question though is, what's the best brand to get and is going cheaper better than the more expensive ones?

Thanx

JKS is your friend

X2 on JKS. There are a lot of quick disconnects out there but no one with a JKS ever said they should have gone with something else. A little more $$$ but...

Rubicondon53 04-21-2012 08:47 PM

X3,, I bought some off brands some 10 years ago, they lasted 3 years, bought JKS and they are still going strong 7 years later..

Colo-TJ 04-21-2012 09:04 PM

JKS from me as well....

terminator012 04-21-2012 09:14 PM

X4 or 5 on the JKS's.

I just happen to have a set. there not JKS. But i hate the RC ones.
I guess i pretty much just hated bending my old fat ass down and trying to hooking them back up. lol

MCDavis 04-23-2012 02:55 PM

Anyone used the Zone disco's?

Imped 04-23-2012 03:02 PM

I guess I'll be the only one to say spend as little money on the stock sway bar/links until you can upgrade to something that's actually helping you off the road.

The existing bushings in my '02 are blown out and not sure what kind they are or if I can get the replacement bushings. After seeing what's out there and what folks spoke highly of I just ordered JKS from autoplicity for $120 + $15 for shipping. :punk:

Im starting to save up for an anti-rock sway bar, no disconnecting needed. Works pretty well on road and off from what Ive heard. They arent cheap ($300ish) but it seems worth it.

jkaufman_95 04-24-2012 10:51 AM

Anti rock is the way to go

JeepandMud 04-24-2012 11:04 AM

Seems like it's between JKS and anti rock. Been looking at the JKS and once I get a job, it'll probably be the first thing in addition to the CB :).

It shouldn't be. ;)

acrijos 04-24-2012 11:49 AM

I have used Teraflex TJ Wrangler Swaybar Disconnects 2-6 since 1999, and I've had not a single problem. They might not be the cheapest, but they are built to last !

Today's vote seems to be for the JKS version. I like mine too.
