Anyone know for sure what the law is in nc about driven with out the doors?

You just need a rear view mirror and a driver side mirror.

No law against it. And minimum requirements are a rear view mirror. You don't even need a driver's side, but its nice to have.

NC Law does require a drivers side mirror as well. :thumb:

Yeah. Because when I got pulled over for speeding with my doors off (and my mirrors are attached my doors) (I got a warning) the officer told me if he wanted too he could of given me a ticket for not having a driver side mirror.

Hey guys I manage to go n ask my local police office n ask tgem about driven without the doors on the jeep n they told me that I did have to have driver side view mirror at least n the one in the windshield! So I guess I cants just drive it with out the driverside viewmirror ah! But thanks for all the input!

I've spoken to a few officers, none has ever pulled any one for not having a driver's side mirror or third brake light. I removed my spare tire carrier since it's not truly beefy enough for 35's.

Being a LEO , I can't see how any state could have a law about doorless when there are motorcycles on the road , but then again who am I.

Our doors are "protection from the elements only, not to be used as saftey equipment"

As for the mirrors I use the Rugged Ridge quick release mirrors with doors on or off and before you ask YES you can see out of the pass one with full doors.
