sweet, Big Bear. July is good!

yomondo 05-07-2012 09:26 AM

Last weekend in July works for me.

donbadabon 05-07-2012 09:31 AM

July works for me. I am in!

Cons_Table 05-07-2012 09:46 AM

The wife and I were just talking about this...I was surprised you hadnt posted earlier ;)

But we are good with big bear, last weekend of July :thumb:

I H8RDS 05-07-2012 09:51 AM

I want to make one of your events..but you keep scheduling them when I have other things going on..it's looking like I'm wheeling The Rubicon late July.

So you know what that means? You need to make one of mine :D

Are you doing the Rubicon with Jeepers Jamboree? If not, you won't be doing it on the last weekend of July because they'll have the trail for their exclusive use.

The Rubicon sounds good also. I will have to stick to the more moderate runs till I am able to rehearsal my axles.

You may look into gettin rid of those square lights too...I think they are hampering your offroad capability ;)

BeantownR6 05-07-2012 10:27 AM

we should choose and campground, and make reservations since they get busy in the summer.

hanna flat?

Hanna Flat is probably the best for location and size.

The square lights are what keeps the Jeep balanced. Gotta keep those.

I vote for Hanna Flat as well. More than 1/4th of the campsites are already booked at Hanna Flat for last weekend of July, so yah we should finalize the dates soon and reserve.

MNTNGOAT 05-07-2012 11:27 AM

most likely wont be able to make it that weekend as our lease ends that week and at moment i dont know if were staying or leaving we should know more when it gets closer.

 I will go online and check that. Me and wifey were planning on being at the Rubicon that week (I have a meeting in Sac on Tuesday) We were going to stay Wednesday & thursday returning on Friday. We were going try the Rubicon on one of those days...we were planning on coming back on Friday and would be able to make the Big Bear outting on Sat, but would be tight....

No..can't see spending an extra $400 to go with a group when I can go with another group for free...MJR. Looks like there may be 2 seperate runs to the Rubicon with MJR peeps. Not to mention, I think what we're going to do is going to be more fun.

The last weekend in July might be the only time that would work for us. Hanna Flat is always awesome, with lots of trail choices.

So my point then is, that you're not doing the Rubicon on the last weekend in July, so you should be able to join us in Big Bear.

I H8RDS 05-07-2012 04:21 PM

LOL Do you think I make $100K a year?? I don't think I will have the money for BB so soon after the Rubicon. That was funny though !

Haha. True that. Good call guys.

I just wanted to say "the squeeze" ...

I'm in for Big Bear.

And like last Turd Production, that :whistling: was fun.

Dougzin 05-07-2012 08:21 PM

If there's a more moderate run that I wont have to worry about breaking something major I would love to go.

BillG.OTD 05-07-2012 08:52 PM

Sounds great Jeff! I am in and let me know if you need any help!

The area is full of trails :thumb: and some are moderate, I'm sure Jeff will have enough participants to make that happen...:)

Dougzin 05-07-2012 09:13 PM
