Tires/Wheels - JK

My JK is coming with the 17"x7.5" Wheels and P255/75R17 OWL On/Off Road Tires. I want to get some some wheels & tires, what do you recommend getting without a lift? Thanks

Those are 32" tires, I'd stick with them for awhile, but you can go 33" with no rubbing, 34" or 35" with some rubbing at full turn and articulation. As far as wheels, 15", 16" 17" 18" ???? alloy, steel? cheap, expensive? just too many choices to make a recommendation. Personally I would stay with 16 or 17 inch rims..

305/65 17, or 305/70 16s are right at 33",, 315/65 17 or 315/70 16s are about 33.5" 305/70 16 is ok on an 8in wide rim, the others all should be on 8.5in wide rims.

Similar Question

Hello,

I have done several searches and read that when using the factory 17" rims along with either a 11.5" or 12.5" wide tires require the use of wheel spacers to eliminate some rubbing. I want to replace my 255/75/17 tires with a more aggressive looking tire with a size of 265/70/17. I believe this size roughly equates to a 32"x10.5" size. My question is will this minor bump in size still require me to run wheel spacers or fit just fine w/out it...Please advise, thanks in advance....

265s should be fine..

I love those top ones.. look like they would be good off road, float well on sand, and not be too loud on a daily driver..

What are they?

you could fit 35s with only a cheap 2" BB.

Both tires are made by Mickey Thompson...The top tire is the All terrain version (ATZ) and the bottom ones are the mud terrains (MTZ).

Thanks for the reply...
