Bought one!

Hi everyone,
We traded in our 2008 Nissan Armada LE for a 2012 Wrangler Unlimited Sport. We had previously owned a 08 FJ Cruiser Trail Teams. I'm in process of upgrading the tires to Wrangler MT/R's, but we're not going to lift it. I had my wife try to get into a 2.5" lifted JKU with 35's and it wasn't easy for her, so we're going to stay lower. We wheeled a lot with our FJ and loved it, but the lack of visibility, the lack of the removable top, and the limited selection of upgrades caused us to sell it. We live in NM, and our primary wheeling will be in the sand and up in the mountains in CO and NM. We're really excited. We have a bikini top on the way and I'll pull the roof in the next week or so.

I really enjoy the forum, and the information that I gained helped us make the decision on the truck we purchased. Thank you all.

Ct..

Welcome! You'll love your Jeep. NM and CO are where we like to take ours, too. Wish we lived there...

Congratulations on both the purchase and seeing the light and coming from the FJ.:whistling:

So your wife couldn't get in a 2.5" lifted Jeep? MY wife is 4'10" and about 99lbs, my Jeep is over 3" lifted with 35's with no side steps and she gets in fine:hide: just sayin'

I would love to see pics of once the MT/Rs are installed. Considering the same on my unlifted (but probably soon to be leveled) 2012.
