Duratrac Question
 
Leaning at buying a set and was wondering About how many miles are the Goodyear Duratracs lasting ?

When I was researching them I read that GY rates them at 40k but I also saw a lot of people posting they hit 50-65k. I guess it depends on how you use them and how you treat them.

I read a lot of 50K and up reviews. Also some that were around 40K. My guess would be that the 40K crowd got lazy and didn't rotate their tires every oil change, and probably didn't have the tires properly aired.

Most shops/dealerships will air your 33's and 35's too the recommendation on the door sticker...around 37 psi, which is too high.

Do a chalk test to get the optimum psi for your tires. :thumb:

I have a little more than 35,000 on mine and appear to be about 50% worn.
