Seems like a heck of a lot of $$ for new tail lights :whistling:

Nice...those are on my list aswell, I know alot of people complain on the price but you get for what you pay for and if you really want them you will pay!

MikeK46 05-31-2012 11:21 PM

Sweet! I was considering the IPCW LED's (the ones on the Vilner JK):

The final product!

RedBones 06-18-2012 07:56 AM

That looks real good.

Macman1138 06-18-2012 07:26 PM

I thought about getting those for my 2011 COD, but wound up getting the LED bulbs from Superbright LEDs instead.

What color did you get? Are they the black or the smoked?

MikeK46 06-18-2012 09:36 PM

Looks really good.

Here are the same ones with red lenses, $40 cheaper.

2007, 2008, 2009 Jeep Wrangler Tail Lights - IPCW LEDT-420CR - IPCW LED Tail Lights

I just saw a set of tail lamps that are LED but didn't look like the other LED tail lamps. It looked more like the normal tail lamp. It's in one of the magazines I have at home. I try to remember to post about it tonight, if my bloody internet connection doesn't act up.

Not a fan of how the LEDs look on the vehicle. Just doesn't like the design of it. I wouldn't mind having LEDs, but something better looking.

Is there some sort of adapter that is needed because I got mine today and its not exactly plug and play? I have a 2012 Rubi.

BlackOpsJeep 08-08-2012 02:41 PM

To each his own. IMHO, those taillights are hideous. Reminds me of those "altezza" versions that are seen on ricer cars. :hide:

paychex.308 08-08-2012 02:47 PM

nice looking lites. While I would use the $300 on a product that will serve me better on the road/trail, they do look good. Your $$$ - Your Jeep

Jkduke 08-08-2012 02:53 PM

i replaced my bulbs with LEDs, they're very bright.

canbuss isn't happy, blinker is on the fast side, who cares?!?

DOMINUS 08-08-2012 02:54 PM

The black and the red ones don't look bad. The clear ones I'd stay away from.

DOMINUS 08-08-2012 02:57 PM

I saw on Quadratec that splicing is needed. I am not splicing anything. I'll take it somewhere and have them install it.

Poleposition 08-08-2012 04:03 PM

Theyre plug and play. What splicing. Installed mine in 3 minutes

Got any pics of your install?

dazone 08-09-2012 02:09 AM

better than stock no matter what is done. i bought ebay smoke lens led and looks nice. no splicing needed. it comes with resistors. all you need to do is unpeel the 3M tape on it and stick it to mount it.
