jack and tire carrier

I have a Hi-Lift jack and stock rear bumper.
I prefer to not buy a new rear bumper so I wondered
if anyone knew of a rear tire carrier that holds a jack
and mounts to a stock bumper.

Take the base off the jack and use chain link fence post straps and 2 bolts to hold the jack between the rear area of the roll bars. It works great.

Do a search. I stole the idea right here a year ago. It works great.

well its not for the rear bumper but i guy on here i saw had his high lift mounted inside the cab which i thought was really cool! i cant remember it tho but i think it was mounted on the inside of the roll bar on the passenger side like if you open the door on the passenger side right to the left and it was up and down i really liked it i can remember that he was selling his jeep and it was a red TJ but thats about all

That would be sweet has anyone left the seat in and ran this set up with passengers in it. I would expect a decapitation when your wheeling. This is a great idea but I always have passengers. Home depot will be happy with those who don't run a back seat.

It's actually a YJ, and I was just outside today trying to do the same in my TJ....but no luck....did not work in the TJ, Floor and Roll Bars are different...

This worked great in the YJ though, as you can see I had the Car Seat in there and got my son In-Out no problem, Also go the jack In-Out no problem on the trail, and it was Fully Assembled...ready to go!

Off road fab makes a tire carrier with jack mount that does not require a bumper.
