Nope it's not a Wrangler but a Grand Cherokee isn't either and it's a fine vehicle.

It ain't a wrangler, but I have seen some badass libertys out there.

I owned a 1990 Cherokee and loved it but it did not have the direct linage from the 1941 MA/MB/CJ like the Wrangler.

I've owned two Liberty's an 02 & 08 they were both awesome vehicles, got my first Wrangler last week all I can say is I'm so glad all my kids are over 18 and I got to buy for me this time. Love it!

I agree, the Liberty isn't too bad. Maybe I'm looking at it the wrong way. I didn't think about the Wrangler being so bada$$ that it's just the flagship for the Jeep brand. I guess when I look at it that way, it makes sense! Just struck me a little odd in my sleep deprived state last evening!

My last vehicle was an 02 Liberty and I loved it. Wanted a Wrangler but had two kids in child seats at the time and they didn't yet make a 4-door Wrangler. Had a lot of fun with it and they are one of the most capable non-Wranglers on the market. I had no regrets. Pulled my boat like a champ and the 4-LO was terrific for pulling up out of the ramp. Great all around vehicle. Only complaint was the God-awful gas mileage that thing got!
