White93ARB 03-01-2008 01:42 PM

Looks great. X2 on that color, I love it.

Scoob 03-01-2008 02:23 PM

NICE!!!

I like the black rings around the headlights. Probably my favorite Jeep color.

jeepnurse 03-01-2008 05:56 PM

Very, very nice :punk:

nicolas-eric 03-01-2008 05:57 PM

looks very good.
do you have a pic with your whole jeep from he side?
want to see how much the frame and TC plate can be seen from the side.

slf41002 03-01-2008 06:17 PM

The first thing that I thought was I like the color and then read on down and seems to be everyone elses thoughts as well.It is a lot like the sunburst orange that I didn't like at first but now that it has been out a while now I really do like those colors now.It is sharp!

White93ARB 03-01-2008 06:37 PM

BTW Orange, whats up with the coupe in the background? I have one just like it. Primer and all :punk:

^^ Mustank owners, what can you say? If they had any style they would own one.

Anyway, I like that front guard! Does that just bolt onto the front bumper after some drilling?

orange05tj 03-01-2008 08:38 PM

The grill gaurd bolted right to the winch plate. I thought I was going to do some welding, but Warn made it for the plate.

The coupe is my storage shed right now. "stock" 5 liter, Tremec 5 speed, 4.11 gears. Can't find coupes anymore.

Thanks for the compliments everyone.

It can be seen, I don't have a tc drop, just the 1" BL. I'll get a pic tomorrow.

nicolas-eric 03-01-2008 08:42 PM

thank you very much...

bpowa 03-01-2008 08:57 PM

nice wheels how much back spacing? and where did you buy that front guard from?

orange05tj 03-01-2008 09:03 PM

Im not sure about the bs. They are MT Classic II's. I got the gaurd from 4wd.com. Bolted up in 5 minutes.

I'm thinking about ordering the beadlock rings for the tires. Nice or too cheesy?

nicolas-eric 03-01-2008 09:04 PM

i donīt like "wannabe beadlocks"...

orange05tj 03-01-2008 09:05 PM

I do like them, but not sure if I want them. Kind of pricey for something that is useless.

nicolas-eric 03-01-2008 09:10 PM

if you like the look of beadlocks, buy some real badlocks.

orange05tj 03-01-2008 09:11 PM

rather get my swing out tire carrier.

nicolas-eric 03-01-2008 09:14 PM

yes. IMO a full size spare tire is more important than faked beadlocks.

orange05tj 03-01-2008 09:21 PM

yup.

question. I never had any wobbles with my 32's and now with the 33's, I have a wobble at from 40-45 mph. Took it to the shop, did alignment and it still wobbles. Guy there told me they used weights for steel wheels and that I should re balance the tires. Speeds over 45 are fine. I don't want weights on the outside of the rim, but they told me thats a true balance. Should I live with the wobble, or bite the bullet and have them re balanced hoping that it helps?

Scout 03-01-2008 09:23 PM

Looks good bro. :D

bpowa 03-01-2008 09:28 PM

i did not know they made poser beadlocks. ghey. thats like putting a rubicon sticker on the side of your hood, but way more expensive.

nicolas-eric 03-01-2008 09:36 PM

@orange05tj:

does the steering wheel shake at 40-45 mph? that sounds like unbalanced tires.
try to put th rear tires on the front. perhaps they are balanced better.

@bpowa:

hey stop...!
i have a ruNICOn sticker on my hood...

orange05tj 03-01-2008 09:37 PM

I was thinking about doing that first thing tomorrow. I'll see what happens.

nicolas-eric 03-01-2008 09:40 PM

i had also hat that after i was wheeling some weeks ago. there was to much mud on the inside of the rims. the whole front shaked at 35-45 mph that much that i was afraid that something could become damaged.

Mickey Thompson Classic II's have a backspacing of 3 5/16"

Scoob 03-01-2008 10:06 PM

The shake sounds like a wheel balance problem. Look for a place that has a Hunter Road Force wheel balancer in your area. I hate to say it but the guy is right. You will get a much better balance with a kind of weight that attach to the rim on both sides instead of the kind are stickied to inside only. However this does not mean you cant get it balanced out with the sticky ones, it will just be harder on the tire "tech".

weights only on one side of the rim? wich such a big offroad tire?
itīs impossible to balance such a rim/tire on that way.

orange05tj 03-01-2008 10:09 PM

doesn't have the sticky weights. They are attached to the rims. I hate the sticky ones, they always fall off.

No its not. With a GOOD balance machine you can get it very well balanced with only inside sticky wieghts.
