Ill post Pics tomorrow with the interrior back in. It was alot of work but well worth it. I am happy with the way it turned out.

That is awesome. I want to do that.

AdrianVall 05-26-2012 08:37 PM

Wow.. looks like a lot of work! Haha but reaaaaaaally sweet! I would really like to do this but don't have the patience.

rbloodhound 05-26-2012 08:39 PM

Thanks. It is great. I see flaws that I wish I would have done better. But I am my worst critic

CJ-John 05-27-2012 05:23 AM

Looks good!

rbloodhound 05-31-2012 05:29 PM

Thanks

How thick is that material, is it a hard finish dry or pliable?

AdrianVall 05-31-2012 09:32 PM

The more I see this, the more I want to do it.. but my Jeep is just still so new to me, so I'm quite hesitant.. lol :)

What are the upsides to doing this besides it looking bad as hell. Reduced heat??

rbloodhound 06-01-2012 08:50 PM

I don't have to fight to keep the black carpet clean. When it gets dirty just turn the water hose loose.

rbloodhound 06-01-2012 08:54 PM

It is about a 1/4" thick. It is not as soft as rhino liner and not as hard as linex. I am a installer for qwik liner. I use to do a lot of trucks. My work schedule won't allow it any more. Now I just do mine and friends.

somis 06-03-2012 04:55 PM

I would like to do this as well. Where did you buy the products? Prep besides scrubbing it clean and covering everything? And I get alot of heat coming up through the floorboard of my Jeep and I agree this would be a great way to keep everything clean

rbloodhound 06-03-2012 10:31 PM

I bought mine thru qwikliner.com. It was an investment for a business.

On any of the bed liner products clean it, scuff up the paint. I use 80 grit sand paper. Just scuff it good. If any thing is shiny scuff it some more. Blow it down or vaccum it out. Wipe it down with acetone. Then apply the bed liner.

90% of the work is prepping.

After 2 weeks I am loving it. Rained yesterday and didn't have to worry about the wet carpet.
