Snow Day

You have to love that Texas weather. It was 80 on Sunday. Monday nite it hits the into the 20's and drops 4" of snow. It was my little MinPins first snow, and the only snow of the winter here.

I hear ya. 82 on Sunday, then snow flurries on Monday morning and climbing to 71 late in the afternoon. I would hate to be a meteorologist here. :D

Thursday I go from the Texas Heat to being a frozen country boy in Minnesota for a week.

Not even close. Being where you're at, that would be like living in Seattle and bragging about getting some rain, or being in Hawaii and getting worked up because you had a beautiful day.

Where I live, we do good to get 4" in a season, let alone a day. 4 inches of snow in March in Texas might as well be 3 feet.

Yup, my WHOLE yard was white! My Wife was just a bit North (Plano) and was afraid her class would get cancelled...I told her '70 yesterday, snow tonight, unless it dumps a couple of feet, don't worry...I woke up this morning, all green on the lawn, streets were dry...Still had some closings, due to the winter weather! :p Oh yeah, got home today in time to mow, it was at least 60.
