Rugged Ridge Steering Conversion
 
This question is kind of late because I already ordered it. Is anyone using the Rugged Ridge Steering Conversion. It looks quality. I'm hoping it will help with my on-road steering issues. The stock Y steering sucks.

JD had you been using the stock steering setup still? If so then you will feel a pretty noticeable difference with this setup. I've seen it. It's stout and looks well made. Pretty simple and still should provide near factory geometry with the trac-bar.

So this only eliminates the toe change as flex increases or decreases right?

That's right...I've been using the stock setup. When I brake the nose dives a little, spreading the toe out, and I often get a shimmy. It also wanders a lot on the freeway. The RR system looks like it will do the trick and much sturdier than stock.

I am running the Rugged Ridge HD Tie Rod and Drag link and let me tell you it is beefy. Solved a bump steer issue I had. Love it. Plus I know the guys that designed it, so they want first hand knowledge of how it preforms on the trail.
