Which TJ Part(s) for 300$ ?

hello.

today i got a 1200$ tax refund and want to spend the money for some jeep parts.
i already have these parts on my shopping cart at 4wd.com:

- 2x OME N66L and 2x OME N67L shocks
- ARB front diff cover (i get the rear diff cover on another way)
- bestop instatrunk
- husky front floor liners

shipping to germany costs about 200$.

i have still 300$ left.
what part(s) for 300$ could i buy? what would be very useful? what would you suggest/recommend?

thanks in advance.

I got the same problem. Got $950 laying in the drawer, just cant think of what to get

nicolas-eric 03-06-2008 06:40 PM

my problem is that i nearly have anything that i want. lockers, gears, 35s, winch....i still have all that.

perhaps i should go with some rocker guards...but with heavy rocker guards shipping would cost 100$ more.

bpowa 03-06-2008 08:29 PM

you guys are nuts.. i save my returns to pay bills... okok maybe black steelies.

simpsonsdotcom 03-06-2008 08:50 PM

I wish i had your problem haha

nicolas-eric 03-06-2008 08:58 PM

perhaps i should spend 100$ more and buy a skyjacker rocklock.
http://www.4wd.com/productdetails.aspx?partID=13335

will it fit under my winch? i think it should...
pic: http://runicon.de/viewer.php?albid=5...e=3&imgid=3808

is the rocklock as strong as the stock sway bar?

if i buy that i could sell my JKS disconnects for about 200$, they cost 275$ over here in the jeep shops.

If anyone has trouble with too much extra money feel free to let me know and we can work out some way to fix your problems.

nicolas-eric 03-06-2008 09:08 PM

ihave no problem to spend all my money for my own things... :D

White93ARB 03-06-2008 09:08 PM

Alright I thought so...especially with a Jeep.

nicolas-eric 03-06-2008 09:13 PM

iŽm so lucky that i donŽt have a wife and/or kids. on that way i can spend all the money for my hobby and must not buy some useles things.

matt, i saw in your myspace profile that youŽre 18 years young. when i was 18 i would habe been so lucky with a jeep like yours. i only had a YJ with small stock tires when i was 18.
my old YJ when i was 18 (15 years ago):

:D :wavey: Thanks Nico. And your Jeep when you were 18 was still a nice ride, regardless of tire size. I think we're all lucky to have Jeeps. :D  But I do love mine, yeah. Until I pop the D35.

any ideas?

mrbigjeep 03-07-2008 08:13 AM

the rocklock is definitely as strong. i've read a lot of good reviews about it. but if you need armor then go for the rocker guards...

tazmann910 03-07-2008 02:41 PM

Rocker guards first...

then Antirock...

and if you have issues..there are a few parts i need...;)

nicolas-eric 03-07-2008 02:44 PM

i already ordered the parts.
and iŽll order the rocker guards AND antirock the next time.

tazmann910 03-07-2008 02:50 PM

Nice choice Nico.

iŽll install a tranny oil temp and air pressure gauge there.

orange05tj 03-07-2008 04:12 PM

If you save that 300 bucks, it'll go into the gastank.

You could send it to your needy Jeep friend in America.

I don't have Sally Struthers to do a cheesy sappy ass commercial but I do look pitiful.

I'm doing vac and engien oil temp as Ihave the 5spd. Total around 125 for all three things. You could do it cheap if you buy cheap gauges made in china. But I like the autometer gauges. MADE IN THE USA:punk: Go to summit for the gauges and 4wd.com for the pod.:D

4.0l sahara 03-07-2008 05:08 PM

Lots of options for gauges.

There is

vac
trans temp
oil temp
water temp
oil psi
pyrometer
air/fuel
cylinder head temp
boost
air psi
nitrous psi
brake psi

Thers lots to pic from.:D

nicolas-eric 03-07-2008 05:10 PM

  :crash:

just got a mail.
they donŽt have everything in stock. they will send me the whole parcel with all parts on 15th to 20th of march. and the parcel nds 4-6 days to germany... :zap:
i donŽt want to wait that long... :flipoff:

nicolas-eric 03-07-2008 05:12 PM

i only want trans temp and air psi. do you have a link to these gauges?
i have to buy the gauges here in germany. i want a degrees celsius and bar (not psi) scale.

4.0l sahara 03-07-2008 05:20 PM

I don't know what to tell you. Look around over there. Autometer is standered measurements. Not metric.;) Look at summit the shipping should be cheap small package.

nicolas-eric 03-07-2008 05:24 PM

here in europe metric is standard. all my other jeep gauges are metric.
