Gotta have new tires. 35x12.5x17. Need the best rain performance possible for my DD while also wanting an agressive design for off roading.
For you KY-TN folks, I do most of my off roading at Turkey Bay at LBL. FC II's, Wranglers? What do ya'll think?
If rain is a major concern then I have to agree, Duratrac's. A very aggressive A/T. Even though M/T's will do better off road they are not a great rain tire. All season would be the best rain but A/T is a good compromise for rain and trail and the Duratracs just look good too.
I've been reading over and over that the GY Duratracs are awesome in the dry, rain, and snow, and are pretty good off-road as well (they just have a thinner sidewall, but the upside is that it reduces weight).
I will be ordering a set myself in 33". The 35s will be a bit pricier.
Look up Hankook Dynapro ATM and read the reviews. I chose these over Duratracs because I've haven't heard anything bad about Hankook tires and they had better reviews on Discount Tire website.
