Maybe a little Rock garden, waterfall, or airplane hill weather permitting :)

I hear you brah, my Jeep's still not 100%, won't be fully ready until mid-June :(

I'm starting to like this trail. To fully run it, take hwy 6 all the way to milepost 18. Archer's starts at the Jordan Creek road/area.

fishmandan 06-02-2012 09:00 AM

So what time do we plan on going and where do you guys want to meet

IslandTJ 06-02-2012 10:14 AM

Have fun, won't be able to make this one, my Jeep is still giving me clearance issues :(

scoobyjeep 06-02-2012 12:57 PM

I would say meet at the chevron in north plains around 8 am. Leave around 830 get their around 930ish. Get aired down and have some fun. I will figure out a good plan for the trails. Still learning the roads and stuff

fishmandan 06-02-2012 02:57 PM

I know most of the trails and how to find them so I'm sure we could figure it out.

scoobyjeep 06-02-2012 04:53 PM

I have all on my phone gps map app thing.

fishmandan 06-02-2012 08:39 PM

There is an app for browns camp?

scoobyjeep 06-02-2012 09:21 PM

its called back country navigator, it cost 10 bucks but it works well and you can save parts of the map so when you don't have cell service you can still use it as a gps, and i have the trails gps'd from various websites

i haven't used it out their yet but i think it will work good

I'll have to check the vacation schedule Monday but I'd be in. Haven't wheeled with anyone from here and would be stoked to go with fellow jeepers.

Mahalo Chris, to resolve I need to grind and possibly weld my gas tank skid mounting brackets toward the front. I've already got someone who'll help me out close by :), thanks for the offer though. It's just a matter of coordinating schedules (got my parents in from the island visiting).

I really look forward to wheeling with you and the group later on this summer :).

scoobyjeep 06-03-2012 04:04 AM

I had to slide my gas tank skid back as much as i could. It was hitting the track bar. And i think i need bar pin eliminators in the rear

IslandTJ 06-03-2012 08:55 AM

I swear, I hate track bars! That's exactly where I'm still having issues. During equal rear compression, the Currie track bar that I bought, still rubs against the gas tank skid's front mounting lip. If I had a taller lift, like 4" - I don't think I would be having this issue. Or if I didn't use the relocation track bar bracket and had kept the track bar in the stock location, I would most likely clear. But from what I've researched so far, this is a lot more common for Jeeps lifted less than 2.5" and have adjusted their rear pinion.

scoobyjeep 06-03-2012 11:05 AM

Im sittin at 4.5 and i have all kinda of clearance issues with exhaist and the rear track bar. But i ha e it to where it just barely doesnt hit.

jameslee97206 06-03-2012 09:21 PM

Been thinking about this run because I have the day off. It's probably against my better judgement to go until I get new control arms. My bushings are beyond shot and the last trip didn't help either. :(

If I didn't know any better I would say that sounds like an excuse for a nice long arm lift :whistling:

I need to clean and inspect my Jeep after this last weekends run. Been too tired to do it today. So I won't make it. Need to make sure my Jeep is in tip top shape for Elbe Hills next weekend.

scoobyjeep 06-03-2012 10:14 PM
