Trails In Western Wa?

Im looking for some trails in Washington state and am coming up empty for sites with trail maps etc.

I live in Kirkland area and am looking to take the new jeep on a voyage in the woods.

Where is a good place to go with some great terrain, thinking around snoqualmie pass or stevens pass.

Also, if you know of some trail sites please share links :)

Thanks

Also, Im trying to stay away from a lot of snow...

TIA

Wrong place to post this thread. Washington forum or on the trail would have been a better choice. To answer your question go to NWJeepn.com, The Trail Starts Here!

Its a little bit of a drive but Elbe Hills (http://www.pnw4wda.org/trails/washin..._hills.htm)has some great trails, Evans Creek (Evans Creek ORV Trail Report, Mt. Rainier) is closer and has nice stuff, then Tahuya (Evans Creek ORV Trail Report, Mt. Rainier) over across the Sound has a good mix of easy to very difficult stuff. All of these offer jeep trails even Tahuya. There is another place up by closer to you but I can't remember the name of it off hand. If I think of it I'll post it up for you.

Aha! Thank you. Never scrolled to the bottom of that page, found the trail forum.

You might post up in the Washington forum as well. You will find local runs and events there. From what your sig shows you have a pretty capable jeep. Welcome to wrangler forum BTW :thumb:

Thanks for the warm welcome and tips. I wheeled a lot in Colorado and Utah while in college, but since I moved back here Ive gone silent.

Now Im looking to get back into it and am having trouble finding the trails to support me. Lots of places to go on the other side of the mountain, or drive hours down to Mt Rainier area, but just looking to get some day trips into the mix.

Thanks again

Josh

Right now the Upper Mainline trail is closed due to errosion, so it's not really worth it.
