Looks great. I was thinking of painting my bumper insertz. What did you do to remove the bumper insert. I also removed the sticker from mine

Front is easy. Just remove the 8 torx screws. The rear you need to remove the bumper. Just six bolts and it's off then remove the 10 torx screws. Takes about 20 minutes.

how did you get at the instrument panel to paint it?

I still need to pull that off both of mine. Being kinda lazy. I'll probably do it when we put the lift in next weekend.

Canadian Tire, Look for "Grill Insert". It comes in a big sheet about 1m Long and .5 M Wide.

Camcor 06-03-2012 06:42 PM

And you just removed the grill and laid it behind it?

Pry the bottom panel under the steering wheel off , then the panel above it. Remove the 2 screws under there and pry the top panel off. Then remove the 4 screws holding the cluster in. Unplug the 3 wiring harness. Starting at the bottom remove the clear lense then the bezel to paint.
Real easy to do.

How long did it take you to get the cluster out?
