windshield bolts

I have went through three sets of the torx sockets trying to get these things loose and only about half of them have broke free. Is there an easy or better way to get these out? Im trying to put on my new mirrors and light bracket and cant get these stupid things loose!

Take the correct size torx bit socket and when you put it in the bolt head give it a couple good taps with a hammer, then connect your ratchet and it should be easier to remove. :crash:

Worse case, take a dremel tool and cut an X in it. Use a #2 phillips and copious amounts of PB blaster...

WD40 helped me. Put it on tonight and take the screws out tomorrow

That is called an impact driver. So called because you hold it in the screw head an impact (hit) the end of it with a hammer:crash:
