Probably a clogged drain inside the cowl.

Push gently on the windshield... If you have any play, it may be time to replace the winshield seals. Mine rained on the inside until I had the reseal done.

could be the air intake for the ac on the passenger side under the cowl

Mine has been doing it since I got it 10 years ago... Can not reproduce it either... Sometimes it does it on a heavy downpour others just a lite mist.... It runs down the OBII connector and drips right onto my left foot.... Still haven't found the cause...

Mine does it on the passenger side, all the drains, that I have found, are clean.

mine is mostly on the driver side but i cant figure it out!

Mine leaked between the drivers full door and tub. Water would run down the door opening (close to where the hinges are) then drip inside once it hit the bottom of the door. I took some pliers and bent the lip on the tub "up" so water would drain out the of the tub vs inside. Solved my leak and wet floor.
