Will do. Thanks man.

If we're too far east for you (most of our runs are in southern new hampshire), western mass 4x4 might be better for you. It's all a matter of which direction you'd want to drive an hour to wheel.

G-Pur, what part of southern NH? Looking for some place around Hudson or Nashua. Perhaps you can give some info seeing as how I am new to jeeping. Thanks

It depends on the trails we are doing. Here are the requirements from our last run. All pretty standard stuff:

Requirements:
- 31" tires
- Working 4wd
- Tow points at the front and rear of the vehicle
- Full size spare tire
- CB Radio

Highly Recommended:
- GPS
- Tow strap (Not straps with hooks at the end)
- Tool kits/sockets/etc
- First aid kit
- Fire Extinguisher

massjeeps 06-21-2012 07:26 PM

Ok. Just need a cb and back tow hooks.

I got this one: Amazon.com: Midland 75-785 40-Channel CB Radio: Car Electronics
It's not great, but it gets the job done. (and today, its only $28!) I will eventually upgrade to built-in unit.

Guys, if your interested, go to the site, and sign up. Club rides are usually once every 3-5 weeks, in addition to the random get-togethers. Announcements are made beforehand, so just become an active member of the community boards and you'll see them when they pop up.
