Emergency lights (firefighter/ 1st responder/ EMS)

Any one here have strobes or flashers? Looking for some ideas for the front of mine.

The back I have tail light/ reverse light flashers with 2 led lights in each to corner of the hard top that blink blue and white

I just didnt do anything to the front yet cause I dont have any ideas I like yet

(NOTE: I don't want to hear the opinions of all the people that hate volunteers because we put lights all over our cars, your opinion doesent matter, so save it!:flipoff:)

WigWags in the headlights

I was thinking wig wags in the lights but i want to be able to still have lights.... would you be able to put strobes in the g4 lighting housing?

Tiburon 03-19-2008 07:42 PM

you could wig-wag your fog lights. I've seen flashers that are small enough to install in your front corner signals. there is plenty of room behind the grill to put in some stand alone flashers in different colors. also the cut outs on the sides of your front bumpers look like a good spot to stick something.

All it takes is money............:D

What about wig-wags in the fog lights, and some 3 LED lights in the grill?

some like these?

just an option. I know several guys on our department that have them in their front grill, and they are super bright with little cost.

I got a blue strobe in mine (blue and red are illegal in the states for on road use, just fyi) I love wheelin enginering's products. they are really a die hard company. if your lookin for somethin go with them in either a white or amber. I'll try and get a pic soon for ya.

ive got a whelen mini strobe bar (12") above my rear view mirror. drilled it right into the windshield frame. its up and out the way but perfect height to get peoples attention

Get teh IPF sealed beam conversion and put small strobes in those. There is a guy here that has some fog lights that are red on teh bottom 1/4 that strobe but are regular fog lifgts on the top 3/4 and are mounted at his winshield frame. And you could just get a visor strobe if all else fails.

I think that may be up to the individual state. All of our VFD $ 1st Res. guys here have always run red.

www.pursuitproducts.com They probably have what you're looking for ;)

I know there are some Search and Rescue teams out there that might be looking for some of these items also.

Walkeraviator 03-21-2008 04:47 AM

yeah, its a state lwa. Additionally, its illegal in a lot of states to have red or blue neons inder your car because they can be confused for police or ems. And in New York it is illgal to have green neons, because of the highway guys who have green flashers
