New to the forum........

First of all, I really like this site. I am not a Jeep owner, but would love to be someday. My current ride is a 2003 Chevy Avalanche. I almost bought a Wrangler instead of the AV, but went with the AV as we are from TX and travel to see family at times. ideally, I would like to have a Jeep as a third vehicle, but school loans and house note are current ly preventing that. A friend of mine recently bought a 1999 Wrangler, so i can at least live through him for a while. I'll be hanging out here and soaking in some knowledge to help my buddy as well as for when I eventually get a Wrangler of my own.

Thanks for the welcome. I've really enjoyed the Avalanche sites, so I'm sure I will learn a lot here as well. Looking forward to the day when I can tool around in a Wrangler!!

Welcome!

Welcome, Hop45, to the best Jeep Wrangler forum on the planet! Just a thot, but the 2008 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited can take your family with you as easily as the Avalanche and still has remarkable storage in the rear for the luggage. If you don't need the short truck bed, take a look. Price wise the 2008 Unlimited is the same price I paid for my 2004 which makes it a great deal. Again, just a thot!

Yeah, but I'm not in the market for a new ride just yet. I love the Avalanche, but would also like to have a Jeep as a third vehicle. When it is time to buy a new ride, the jeep will get some serious consideration. Only problem with the wife would be the highway ride. We use my AV for trips and it rides great on the highway. I have a utility trailer now, so the truck bed would not be a big issue.
