Is there ANYTHING in the tri-valley?

Its summer and im super bored, does anybody know if there are any trails that are within an hour or so of the Pleasanton/livermore area? i know there are a bunch that are a few hours away, but ones just for like a day trip or something? Thanks!

Don't know of any in that area. But if you head up to Sonora area there are alot of trails. Stop at one of the Forest Ranger stations and get some maps. That is where I go. There is a good run on July 14th up by Eagle Meadow. Google Niagara Rim trail and it will show you the upcoming event. Looks like fun I signed up.

Hollister Hills is about an hour and a half south from you... ITs huge and the bomb!:punk: Only $5 to get in, pay at the ranger station. 680 south to 101 south to san juan batista exit, go east until you see hollister hills rec area signs... Awsome wheelin'! I'd go with you, but not this weekend. PM me, have a few other guys that might go too. 4wheelparts is having a customer appreciation day july 24th I believe, lot of norcal guys going, $5 at one of their stores for tickets...
