Product Preview: A Game Changing Jeep JK Bumper Coming to Market!

You want serious protection for your JK. You want this to look good, but also hold up to the rigors of the trail. Problem is that Jeep weighs more than a neighborhood meet and greet of a pie eating contest. Then we go putting more weight on our rigs. We put big heavy bumpers on there, winches, armor, etc etc etc and suddenly it's the combined weight of a small nation of pie eating champions.

So coming VERY soon is a game changer to the JK bumper market. We've all seen the trend for aluminum this and aluminum that to save weight. We can all debate all day long whether aluminum can hold up as well as steel and talk about metal properties, etc etc etc.

Stock JK bumper weighs about 40 pounds. What if I told you that VERY soon, a new bumper will be making its way to the market and it's only 31 pounds for a shorty and 34 lbs for a mid-width bumper? Not only that, but it's made of high strength alloy steel and just as tough as the big bulky awkward bumpers out there? Yes, you will actually be able to SHED weight while upgrading your rig... All while having a great look that is visually different than everything else out there.

This is truly a game changer on the market and will come in at what I feel is an affordable price point. Oh... and MADE IN THE USA! :punk:

Subscribe to this thread. I will be adding more details and pictures in the coming days!

I'd say : I can weld a 40" piece of 6" pipe to my frame and call it a "lite-weight steel bumper"

Its not about "can it be done"...its about "can it be done in a way I like".

Im always eager for new products, though. Show us some pix. and get some broad feedback BEFORE production. :)

It's gone through extensive testing and they're ready to ramp up for production. The bumper will be coming from one of the most respected names in the bumper and armor market. The design, toughness and looks of this bumper will be something I expect to be a big hit.

How about a teaser?

Not at initial release, but if this is a big enough seller and the demand is there, then yes there will be later on down the road.

Sure and not to knock that brand, but that is basically a flat plate with some d-ring mounts welded on. Now that the full pics are released, you'll see that this is a true bumper with lines that flow like no other on the market. Something that truly goes with the lines of the JK, is lightweight AND strong. A game changer. :)

N3M0 07-12-2012 01:51 PM

any way i could get a pic of the stubby with bullbar & light tabs with the hawse fairlead mount?

Lowerumble 07-12-2012 02:00 PM

More pics! Straight front? On any other jeeps yet?

JeepAddOns-Chris 07-12-2012 02:00 PM

That's this one right here. The light tabs are built into the bull bar. You only need the optional light bracket listed if you run the stinger version or bare version. :)
