AEV Procal and 2012 Jeep
I found yet ANOTHER use for the AEV/Procal module: We installed a Rubi sway bar on my 2012 JK. According to the directions, you have to take it to a Jeep dealer to have a special code entered so that the ASBS/sway bar light works on the dash. I was quoted $100 at each dealer I called.
We pinned the Procal to the ASBs module, plugged it in and honk! honk!- the swar bar light comes on! Sway bar on, ESC off. No problems.
In addition we:
- Reset the TPMS. My low pressure light went off.
- Programmed day time running fog lights- just to see if it works. You can also do signals, markers, high or low beams and off.
- Programmed in 34" tires. Its not a re-gear- but it helped.
- Speedo, according to my highly advanced Droid app (not!) is correct.
I know there have been other posts on the ProCal but I couldn't find anything relating to the ASBS module. Not exactly common but the directions in the Procal are a little confusing/vague and I wasn't sure it would work. For the money you can't beat this gadget.
Now off to play with my sway bar.
