Price Help.

Hey guys this is my first post on the board. My wife and I are getting ready to purchase a 2008 Jeep Wrangler X with the black mopar package, 6 spd, tow package, serius, rear locker, sway bar disconnect, and a hardtop. The dealer is asking 26,200. I think that 26,000 with tax and license included and a set of pro comp rims and 33" pro comp tires (which they get for cheap) is a pretty fair price. What do you guys think? I appreciate the help! look forward to interacting with you guys and living the Jeep Life!

Never hurts to ask.

How much is TT&L where you live?

Go to kbb.com or edmunds.com and get the exact invoice price. You should be able to get an X model at or below invoice.

The price is fair (just bought the 2008 Wrangler X with a similar package + for about the same price), but AVOID THE FREEDOM TOP HARD TOP AT ALL COSTS!!!

Do not forget Kelly Blue Book is High!!!

When you are done negotiating tell them you want a 100,000 Bumper to bumper waranty at no cost! Then act like you can just go some where else if they say no. Make sure the deductable they give is at the highest $100.

You can just about always get this at the end of your negotiation.
Say it with force. The worst that happens is they say NO.

Why would you want them to throw in a warranty with the highest deductible?

I think what he means is a deductable no higher than $100:banghead:
