Need some input
Alright...new to this forum.
Looking for advice. I now drive a 2000 TJ with a 3" lift and 33's. Love it, but I'm in college and this year I will be commuting back and forth to school; about a 50 minute drive two days a week. My problem is my wrangler has 115,000 miles on it now, and between the gas mileage with the lift and the high mileage, I'm looking for a new vehicle. I know for sure I want another Jeep, I don't know what I'd do in the summer without one. My question is what would expect to get for gas mileage compared to a TJ with a lift and tires. I'd plan on keeping this one stock until I was done commuting. Looking for a wrangler X, freedom top, and has the upgraded tire and rim package. That is all. thanks

Buddy gets about 19mpg on highway with stock rubicon 4dr.... check jeep.com for mpg est. But over all I would guess 15-20 would be the range. Why not just go buy a cheap ricer for 3k , get decent mpg and keep the TJ?

It's an idea that I've thought of myself, call me stubborn but i just don't like cars. My other problem is im only 20, and live in Massachusetts so my insurance is so high as it is, two cars would be reallly expensive. Thank you for your input though, I appreciate it.

07 JK 2 Door with 37's and 5.13 gears is still getting in the 18 range.
