Windrock in August

Does anyone have any interest in hitting up Windrock possibly sometime around August 17-19? or 24-26?
I'm a stocker so it'd be light trails.

Knox Off Road is going this Saturday the 21st. We're meeting at the Hardee's in Oliver Springs at 9:30am.

I need to check the locals more often. I missed your post.

jpstoner,

join knoxoffroad.com, good group of folks, and they have a wealth of knowledge. and trips range from novice (just to get a little dirt in the tires) to the point of unhinged radical ppl, that normal people are afraid of (but are good guys none the less)

I might. I'll have to look at my schedule.

I could lead a ride one of those days. I have a race in the morning on the 18th but can do something closer to lunch time. I have guided groups at windrock several times.

I'll check out their site this weekend.

Glad we have some interest. I suppose we might end up fusing the groups if I move on it fast enough.

Agreed. I'll look at that date a bit later on. Turns out I'll be off with KOR on the 18th.

18th looks promising now also..

I plan on being out with Knox Off Road on the 18th also.

RoxstarD 07-29-2012 09:32 AM

I work every Saturday but the 18th. But 18th could work around lunch time. I may just head up there after the race and run aroud on the easy trails. Anybody wants to join they are free too. I will post a meeting place and time later, I would bet it'll be down by the lower shed.

Is there a final decision on the 18th?

I don't know about anybody else but I'll be going with the wife and kids and leading a couple more jeeps on a scenic (read: easy/moderate) ride on the south side of the property. The Atv club is having a night ride there that night so I'm going to be back to the trailhead in time to say hello to some old friends

Let me know what time for sure and I am in. My wife and I for sure and we may bring the kids as well. It will be our first time there and a scenic ride sounds good to me.

Will do. It's always a pleasure to introduce folks to the majesty that is Windrock
