There was a thread about Fire Ext. on the JK forum a week ago...
I have two red cheapos from Bi-Mart, USCG approved, I also have a big refillable one too ,Not sure of the pounds. All Dry chem. .
If your looking for ways to mount them, I found VELCRO straps at Home Depot, lots of options on length, types...
I haven't mounted any of mine yet, just standing in the Milk Crate with everything else, AXE, Shovel...Come a long, oil bottles....Head Ache waiting to happen.... :eek: "BH"

I carry a 5lbs...looks like 2lbs is the minimum for Oregon Off Road vehicles.
735-116-0000 Safety Equipment Standards for Off-Road Vehicles
3) Safety equipment standards for off-road vehicles subject to this rule are:
(c) Fire Extinguisher. All vehicles, except motorcycles and multi-wheeled motorized vehicles, must be equipped with a functional dry chemical type fire extinguisher of at least two pounds capacity that is approved by the Underwriters Laboratories or other acceptable testing agency;

I would find something stronger than velcro. In an accident, that fire ext. is going to be airborne and you do not want to get hit by it.
