Supercharging

Hi,

My dad has just bought a Tj as his second toy and is very impressed with it, like i am with mine. His only problem is he's not got enough power. He's already got the K&N, full Borla exhuast system including headers. Now we both live here in the UAE and don't have as much exposure to wrangler modifications as you do over in the states, now i'm hoping someone can tell me how easy or hard it is to install a supercgarger and if there is a particular brand i should look at.

yea you can look in to superchargers or you could just put a Chevy 350 in it

If you are going to install a supercharger (not that difficult, just a little time consuming I have heard) you can look into Kenne Bell and Whipple as the two brands that I can come up with right now... Make sure you get pictures of the project and the final under hood shot!

I went to the Land between the Lakes Jamboree and there was a guy running a Kenny Bell supercharger on his rubicon. He said 4 grand and 5lb of boost. The dude has yet to regear:eek: which would have helped his freeway issues, running with 4 inches of lift and 33's. Me I think I would spend the 4 grand elsewhere starting with gears. Don't get me wrong 400lb ft of torque would be nice but my heep doesn't need to launch over obstacles. And a 350 swap would be cheaper.
