93 Yj

New to this forum. Own a 93 Black YJ, mostly stock. I have had it now for 4 years and would like to add some mods but money is always tight. It was rough with I purchased it and it took a lot of work and $$$ just to get it to be a daily driver. Only has a 4 cyl but runs good at around 20 MPG and uses no oil. I had to put a hard top on since I had to replace two soft tops because someone needed something I had more than I did. I miss the soft top and the ease of running naked.

Welcome. Even in Cali we don't bother locking the doors. Make it easy for them to get in. They're less likely to do any damage to the top.

Welcome from NC...I have had to retrain my family about not locking doors. I worry when I am at work (night job)that someone will slash before noticing there is nothing to steal or that doors are unlocked:D

Thanks for the welcome!! Had a bad storm come thru on Wednesday nite/Thursday morning with 80 to 90 mph winds. We made it thru with very little damage and nothing to the vehicles but the neighborhood looks like a war zone. They called it zero line winds but I still believe it was a tornado! Took a neighbor's roof off and snaps telephone poles like toothpicks.
