Minneapolis Area Lift Question

So, I am sure this has been asked in all the main forums but I am curious for the Minneapolis area... What is the pricing for installing a lift kit? I was at Fury motors tonight having my new (to me) rims put on and TPMS swapped and they had one on the showroom with a 2 inch lift. That is what I want mine to look like. I know its somewhat more for LOOKS because I like the big beefy stance. And I know I will take it out and play with you guys occasionally *as i did with my Xterra* but I don't need it to be crazy. Its my D.D. so I don't want to mess it up or my warranty. But really like that extra lift look and the tires thicker and sticking out a little more. HOw do I get that look :) Sorry for the questions ;)

Joel.

Hey dude,

I would suggest getting it done yourself. I only added a leveling kit to my Jeep but I did that with a guy at work who has done it before. I was worried at first but after we got started I was really happy to have done it myself. You learn a lot and it gives you confidence to try other mods. I'd be willing to help but I am no expert and have only done the leveling kit so far, but other guys around here have more experience. Chat with some people, read about lifts and lift installs and it will go a long way to making you more comfortable about doing it on your own. If you decide to do it yourself let me know and maybe I can help out.

Maybe snopro269 will let you use his badass garage to install a lift on your Jeep. Probably just cost you a case of beer!

Otherwise I think most places will charge around $200-$400 to install a lift. If it takes them longer than a few hours then that cost will go up.
