It looks great. What kind of lift, wheels and tires? Do you have plans for remounting the spare?

once again looks great man!

jeepthis 10-01-2005 11:08 PM

Hey thanks guys. You are correct on the lift but the tires are 32x11.5x15. Now you mentioned remounting the spare, why would I need to remount it? It's already mounted on the back there! If you mean a spare carrier, I don't have the money for that and I really don't plan on doing that for a while. I am going to make a spacer or something that will allow the spare to rest on the top of the bumper.

And yes, I am on this site too. I am all over the internet offroad world! I need to get a life!

nah mate. it took a couple of goes..
still more to come too..
looking at getting louvers pressed into the bonnet just up in front of the hinges
as well as getting ghost flames over the front bonnet,,
same colour gold just a fraction darker.. so you can only see them in certain light.
sweeeeet

YUP> :D

97TJAC 10-13-2005 09:32 PM

well how do u like them so far?
i like mine but the only thing they have done is street drove and a few flexing on some grass hills hahahah

tweba99 10-14-2005 08:21 AM

they work well for me. I have upgraded the to 4.5 springs from the 3.5 springs so I will probably need to get some longer ones and when I do I will go with DT's again.

97TJAC 10-14-2005 03:03 PM

nice... i got shocks that are for a 6" lift and i have 4" springs i dont know if that makes a difference but it was same price

keep on jeepn

 Never mind, finally saw the postage stamp pic.

tiny terror 07-01-2007 10:47 AM

Unfair. Mine has 31's so both those look great to me :D

mudaddy 07-01-2007 10:50 AM

yeah had alotta people tell me 35's would not fit with my lift...but i proved them wrong :flipoff:

Triple88a 07-01-2007 10:59 AM

what lift did u do? 3"?

Mudweiser 07-01-2007 11:02 AM

Alot of lifts have reccomended tire sizes and people swear by them. 4" will only fit 33's and so on. Most of the guys i run with are all runnin 4" lifts and our tires range from 33-39s. Most without body lifts. I run one of course but i shoot more for deep bogs then just crawling around. The real test to see if they really clear is to max out your flex and see ifyou scrub then. Mine scrubbed a tad before i put the 7" flares on. But now they tuck nicely and i dont get lug fulls of mud in the face. Jeep looks good. I dig the rims :>

mudaddy 07-01-2007 11:10 AM

i have a 4.5" lift, i love mud too tho so thats what i was thinkin bout when i got them, now i am wondrin could i go 36's ? yea your right i will know next weekend how much i will scrub when it flexes. thanx i think they look better than all that shiney stuff

Mudweiser 07-01-2007 11:14 AM

Well heres 7" on 38.5's....you tell me :P

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y26...r/DSCF0504.jpg

Are you running a body lift at all or just a 4.5 suspension?

I keep a set of 36x13.50s for every day driving...they have plenty of room on mine. You may need a lil bit more then 4.5..but some minor mods would clear em.

activelydying 07-01-2007 11:17 AM

That last picture is awesome. :D I noticed that you have neoprene seat covers. How do you like them?

mudaddy 07-01-2007 11:19 AM

well i am thinkin bout gettin 3"spring risers a guy in my club had them and loved them and he had stock control arms i dont see why i couldent use them. that would give me 7
