Mud in Coastal Carolina?

More Specifically, we are located in Havelock, so anything that is within about 50 miles would work.

Just got my wife a 91 yj and I need somewhere to teach her how to drive in the mud, or at least somewhere she could learn through experience.

She is dead set on entering it at Little Doo, or Jumping Run Creek, just for fun. However she doesn't have the confidence/experience yet.

If you don't know about those places, think somewhat organized mud drag racing through a pit.

dude just go in the crowatan forest, theres plenty of trails down catfish lake road and around catfish lake

Not much to do in the Croatan. No trails to speak of, just flat, dirt roads and the main roads like Catfish Lake are nothing but pure washboard. I know, my property borders it. I'd look elsewhere unless it's after a good, flooding rain.

Be careful to all the service members, some Base CO has made the comment that any Marines/Sailors caught on Catfish Lake Rd. without a fishing poll or a hunting rifle/shotgun will be held accountable under the UCMJ..
