ooops

I was rotating my rear tires today and broke a stud. Im running 4 out of 5 lugs now. Think its safe? I dont have any time to get it fixed right now, maybe some time next month.

its not that dangerous, but fix it as soon as you can.

JB weld it on!!!! HA HA !!! No man, you should be safe for a while, but as stated above...get it fixed as soon as you can!

yeah, at least its the back. I've run 5 out of 8 on my old 73 Ford for a long time. Just didnt drive it as much as I do the Jeep. As long as my wheel dont pass me down the road, I'll be ok

I've been running four lugs on my driver's side rear for about a year now. (I need to fix that!) Just make sure the others are tight.....

And keep it on the road!

I broke at least 5-8 studs in the past 2 years on two out three cars/JEEPS, Ok, one car and 2 JEEPS. At times was runnin the TJ with 2 broke on 1 wheel and other such variations, no probs. Eventually got all of them fixed. LIVE DANGEROUSLY I say!!

98TJSahara 04-28-2008 06:13 PM

Double check the lugs if you have Alum. wheels for saftey. Then LIVE DANGEROULY, as that other guy said!:punk:

you'll be fine. i had my tires rotated and one of the lugs was cross threaded so they had to break the stud.

Mine was the same way I fixed it when I R&Red the wheel cylinder and shoes a few days ago.
