Saskatchewan Wheeling Clubs

Eh boys I live in Saskatoon and I was wondering if anybody knows of wheeling clubs around here?

twixter96 09-01-2012 04:47 PM

It looks like me and you are the only two people from Sask on this forum lol, I don't know of any clubs but we got some wicked trails here

Jammers 09-01-2012 05:09 PM

Hey guys. I am from the Saskatoon area as well. There are quite a few people from Sk on here. I asked the same question a while back. Try searching the forum for Saskatoon. Should find the thread.

Hey guys. If either of you guys are considering new exhaust I have a dynomax dual exit cat back that is brand new that I am not using. It was too noisy for the family so I had to take it off. Would sell it cheap. It has about 100km on it.

Would it fit an 87 yj? And when the cash flows better in a few weeks I'd be interested....

They aren't actually trails, me and the buddies just go down local grid roads that we know get nice and muddy lol

twixter96 09-03-2012 09:54 PM

Also  from shellbrook haha, you wouldnt happen to know where to get a cheap hardtop for a 87 yj?

Renagade119 09-03-2012 09:56 PM

WHERE!? Are they a reasonable distance from saskatoon?

twixter96 09-03-2012 10:18 PM

Lol excited for some last minute mudding are we?? And they are all like 5-10 minutes around shellbrook which is about 1.5 hours outta stoon if you go thru the blaine lake way. We haven't gotten a heavy rain lately so they've been pretty dry tho

Renagade119 09-03-2012 10:20 PM

Thats a bummer, I drive through blaine lake kinda once a year to go visit my buddy at martins lake. Besides that I never go to blaine lake so kinda a downer for me

twixter96 09-03-2012 10:33 PM

After it rains just drive outta the city and go down grid roads that aren't used very much, you'll most likely find mud pretty fast

I went to some "trail" (not really can be called trailed) beside railway tracks, usually on the grass land between farms and the rail track. I dont think I "break" into anyone's property.

Hey jammer what woul you be willing to sell your exhaust for. I am building my jeep up and woundn't mind some exhaust? I'm from swift current and also wouldn't mind finding out about a club.

StizzoFoShizzo 08-25-2013 09:59 PM

Sorry for the old bump. Just seeing if there are any clubs still going in or around Regina. Tried google and the Regina 4x4 Club group on Facebook is closed?

Bronek 09-09-2013 05:35 PM

Regina area 4x4 club is called SOVA (Saskatachewan Offroad Vehicle Association). Facebook link

Hi, just looking around for somewhere to try out the wife's Jeep and am coming to the conclusion that Saskatoon isn't going to be great although my neighbours are promising pretty bad ruts in the streets which isn't quite what I had in mind. How can I justify Durtracs and a lift unless there's somewhere to trail?
