95' YJ A/C System for Sale

I am selling my A/C system from my 1995 6 cyl Jeep Wrangler. I have the complete system including the under dash unit, compressor, evaporator, etc... I'm asking $350 for the unit if you want to come pick it up. I'll have to add to that price if you want everything shipped.

I have the entire system removed from the jeep right now and just need to box it up and send it on its way.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact by PM here or email: doch80@hotmail.com

would this fit a 94'?

Doch80 08-28-2012 09:13 AM

Yes, it will fit a 94'

Zombiekiller 09-02-2012 09:43 AM

Is It compatible with a 4cyl?

Doch80 09-02-2012 02:32 PM

I wouldn't see why not. The in-cab unit should be the same. I also believe the compressor is the same also when looking up part numbers. You'll have to do a little research to find out specifically as I'm not 100% sure. I'll do some also.

Apparently, some of the threads I read regarding the different engines is that the a/c system is basically the same. The only difference might be the length of the hoses to the condenser.

Sorry to hijack the thread but do u happen to know where u would connect the hose to put more refrigerant in ac to make it colder?

Zombiekiller 09-02-2012 03:16 PM

If it fits I will pm you

There are two ports on the two lines coming out of the compressor. Your bottle of refrigerant will tell you which one to use. It'll only attached to one of those since they are different sizes. Just follow the directions.

The compressor is the towards the middle of the engine correct?

Doch80 09-02-2012 04:52 PM

No, it's on the passenger side, above the alternator. Picture 2 above.

All tHe people always complaining about no ac and this is still for sale? That's crazy. Where in Texas are you?

Carlsbad0331 09-15-2012 11:45 PM

Did anyone confirm if this was compatible with the 95 2.5l also?
Considering its been over 100 degrees the last two days here, I am VERY interested.
I cant find any definitive answers...

waltrobak 11-16-2012 12:46 PM

Do you still have the YJ A/C sytem for sale?

brokeagin 11-17-2012 10:26 PM

I have one for a 2.5 less compressor a/c mount if you are still looking. :)

waltrobak 12-30-2012 10:24 PM

Sorry for not getting back to you right away. What parts do you have? I do not need the compressor since I will be running the A/C system from the compressor on the Mustang motor that I have installed. Let me know what you have and how much you are looking for it.
Thanks Walt
