vacumn hoses on top of valve cover

i got an 89 yj, i have owned a couple xj's and a wj before this one but i have never seen all these weird vacumn lines and connecters on top of my valve cover and on the firewall behind my valve cover. Can any of this be removed?
i am looking to clean up the engine bay more in the jeep, of at least just wires and crap thats useless.

My 89 YJ had most of the emissions nonsense removed before I bought it so I don't know exactly what was removed but there are still some hoses and stuff. If you want me to take a picture for you I can try tomorrow.

the vacuum sensors that are mounted on the fire wall... those little blue things with 2 wires coming from them. the one beside the batterie is the one that controls the 4x4 dash light. the other 2 i don't know, but there sensors that controll sumthin that prob. dosent matter. u prob can remove them as long as u plug the hoses. i just baught a 89' wrangler laredo today. i already have a 4 cyl 90' but the only sensor there is the one that controlls the dash light. the other 2 i still havent looked at yet.

Get the Factory Service Manual, it will show you what all of the lines are for.
