Ground Hawgs or TSLs

I'm in the market for new meat and i've narrowed it down to super swamper tsl's or ground hawgs. what do you recomend? i kind of like the ground hawgs because you don't see them very often, but can they perform?

hogs, are even more old school than swampers.. they work, but, I have not seen a set on a trail rig in years. TSL hard to beat off road, and you get that cool B-17 sound as you drive along....

They look similar to the claws with a zig zag line in the center.

the hawgs will wear pretty well but there lateral traction blows. get them in the mud in a straight line and you will give the bogger guys a run for there money. ive had a couple friends run them in there full size trucks. both guys ran 38s i think.

If you go with the Hawgs, just remember, they are directional tires. They can only be rotated front-to-back, not side-to-side. Both the Hawgs and the TSL's came out in the late 70's IIRC. Of course, back then the SS TSL's were called Gumbo Mudders (and Monster Mudders, depending on the size) and were made by Dick Cepek. Somewhere along the way Dick Cepek must have sold the design to Interco and they renamed & expanded the design.

I run TSL radials and love them... Yeah, they sound like B-17 in a dive but who cares? I didn't buy them for the sound or the looks, I bought them for the performance....and they are awesome off-road tires. Most of the time, I only need 2 wheel drive on the local lumber trails....(it's my personal challenge to not use the 4 wheel only when I get stuck)

Besides, the noise keeps the deer and other drivers away from me.

TSL's...they're my next tire
