Blower motor fire ? how often

So ive been reading that we could have a fire in our TJS of our blower motors are too old. They draw too much amps at high speed and start fires

anyone ever have this happen ?:whistling:

Havent had mine catch on fire, but it did do the common fault and melt the harness on the back of the switch for the blower motor, I had to replace the harness with a new pigtail, then did the JP Mag fix and wired in some relays for the blower motor to prevent if from overheating the wires.

See a lot of issues on the forums with switches & connectors burning-up, even had a mode switch & connector do a smoke-test on my own stuff. Haven't seen any issues with them actually catching on fire, though.

I can't stand JP magazine. I had a subscription, but cancelled because I can't stand the BS that they spew. Its 100% run by aftermarket manufacturers and is 100% biased to selling their parts.
