Do u have 3.21 gears

SLA007 09-26-2012 06:42 AM

I am running Duratrac's 315/75/16 (35") so far I have not had any problems. been running them for about 2000 miles including wheeling several times. THere are times that i feel like i would like to have the lower gears and will regear at some point, but for now it is running and working just fine.

SLA007 09-26-2012 10:08 AM

I do have the 3.21 gears. Not sure about the Module have really read to much about it. My Jeep runs fine tho, i can do 70 on the interstate and crawl up the hills on the trails no problem. Don't really use 6th gear but i am still only running about 2300 rpm and getting 16mpg on the highway.

70 thats good 16 mpg not bad but minds automatic transmission and 4 door JKU Module supposely helps transmission shift different

The AEV will only correct your speedometer and help with the gear shifting points. It will do nothing for performance. If you don't use the AEV Pro-call, your speedometer will be off with the bigger tires and so will your gas milage.

AEV will help with the shift point so it don't fight between 4 & 5 gear

I have 2012 Sport Unlimited. 6 speed with 3.21 gears. The dealer had a leveling kit and 35/12.5r18 nitto trail grapplers put on. The dealer here does that to a lit of the new jeeps to help sale them I suppose. I don't have any power problems like a lot of people say you will have with 3.21, but then again I traded an H2 Hummer for the Jeep. I also haven't driven another jeep other than the '97 wrangler with 5 speed and 4 banger so...Anyway, I haven't been on the interstate but a couple of times getting16-17 and 12-13 in town.

Mikeage is around 16-18, does well on highway. Speed on highway here is 75 and does great

Would you have prefered going with 18 rims and the same size tire (changing the rim size of course :whistling:)?
